Goodwood Festival of Speed

The 2010 Goodwood Festival of Speed saw the World Premiere of the thunderous new ALPINA B5 Bi-Turbo saloon.

Storming up the famous Goodwood Hillclimb, the new 507 horsepower B5 received a rapturous response from spectators and the Press alike and is the ultimate expression of the latest BMW 5 Series.

The car was driven across Europe to the Festival of Speed directly from the ALPINA factory in Germany by none other than AUTOCAR magazine whose latest report called the new B5 Bi-Turbo “…the most accomplished vehicle the firm has ever made” - high praise indeed when you consider the illustrious ‘back catalogue’ of BMW ALPINAs over the years!

Joining the B5 at Goodwood was the newly-launched 400 horsepower ALPINA B3 ‘S’ – available in Saloon, Coupe, Convertible and Touring bodystyles, this remarkable machine is faster and more frugal than the BMW M3 and offers a level of refinement and exclusivity untouched by ‘normal’ prestige cars.
