As a female when visiting a service department it can be a bit intimidating but I am always made to feel at ease.
Simon was great and kept me up to date with the process. Due to the damage sustained he got my car turned round very quickly. The issues I had/experienced are documented below.
Had some pre warrenty checks that discovered an issue that would have cost me a great deal had the service department not been on the ball.

Good service but I don't think 3 hours can be described as 'while you wait' for an MOT test really.
My car service was carried out swiftly under video conditions and came back clean and polished.

Excellent service from John on the service team. Was able to do the service + recall while I waited which makes things easier since I travel from Derby to Nottingham for servicing. If I had to deal with BMW Stratstone in Derby I'd switch brands!

service and coolant fault completed after leaving the car with the dealer for two days, then called at 17:50 to be told I could collect the car when I live 15 miles away so had to collect the following morning. Not really acceptable.
Servicing is straightforward and the staff are friendly and accommodation

everything states above lead to an awful experience. They also order the wrong parts initially and only told me once the car had already been in a whole day. I also saw a repair team member wheel spinning a car in the parking area that wasnt theirs!

was told repair of blocked windscreen washers wont be covered by warranty due to not using genuine BMW fluid, squeaky brake still noisy (improvement for couple of days only), not true information in regards remote control via ConnectDrive
They contacted me to upgrade my electronics system.
I think the service quality was good and it was a pleasant surprise that the eventual price was less than quoted. However, this was sold to me on the basis of it being a 90 minute while-you-wait service but in reality to took 150 minutes.

The service was some time ago but it was found that the brake guard plate needed replacing which had to be booked in seperately under warranty. The job took longer than expected which meant me waiting for my car and it not being washed.
I was very satisfied OK.
The salesman knew me from my previous visit, knew what type of customer I am and knew how to treat me.

Car was taken in for recall work which apparently involved a software update. This resulted in SOS error msg displayed on dash. This should have been spotted before car being released back to me instead of me reporting it and car having to go back in

I bought my car with service included in the package. However I was told this package expired at 50,000 miles. I was lead to believe that the service included was up to 60,000 miles as per my previous car.
I would have marked it higher but the number of Surveys I received is far to many; I think this one is number 3 or 4, I have lost count.

The two and a half hour wait for the MOT to be done is not acceptable. We were told that two cars had been wrongly booked for the time slot we had been allocated. This should not have happened.

There was a time I enjoyed visiting Sytners. That time has long passed! They remain very expensive but sadly the service is now poor, regularly overrunning, on occasion inefficient and supported by harassed employees. prob not BMW for me next time!
Only issue was on a tyre that the BMW technician said was ok that then failed on the MOT?
The booking in and check in was fine. I was called later in the day at 3pm to say my car would be ready in 45mins. I arrived at 4:10pm to be told they my car was still being cleaned. I eventually got the car back at 4:45pm after stopping the clean
My issues were remedied, but should not have occurred in the first place.

I found the staff cold and not very accommodating. The loan vehical was small in bad shape with no screen washRequested a VAT receipt on 3 occasions to no avail I also asked for my name and email address to spelt correctly to receive the above.
Took twice as long as quoted, and technicians rubbish left in the car.

When I got delayed in traffic on my way to collect the car, despite there only being 2 or 3 people left at the showroom, the few people who were there (notably one young mechanic/technician) went out of their way to ensure I could get my car back.
the on line booking had not gone through.I expected to be turned away but they honoured the email and were as prompt as they could be whilst I waited

The staff were all very efficient and dealt with the purchase and finance very professionally. The handover was very thorough, and we are delighted with our new car.
Although I was very pleased overall but was disappointed with an issue. During my familiarisation drive we got interrupted 30 mins into the drive as Stefan was asked to come back to the showroom as they were short staffed. I thought that was rude.

The people at the Nottingham BMW centre were very friendly and efficient.A test drive was easy to arrange.When I picked the car up, the BMW salesman went through the controls in detail and said I could go back if necessary.
