I was told that they would wash my car and so had to wait longer. But then when I got the car I noticed they didn't bother to wash my car. Then why ask in the first place.
No problems, was given a courtesy car for the day, car was ready early so I could get home and avoid rush hour traffic. Did have to wait a while for a booking as needed a day which had a car available.
Kind of left for 2 hours with no updates.Video is good but pointless of I only get it after the service is done.

Very satisfied with BMW Sytner Nottingham. Just a shame I had to take my car back in for a software upgrade after a drive train error visit as perhaps the s/w upgrade should have been done at the same time??

They serviced my car , updated recall item and gave me my car back with no power so had to return for it to be fixed. 3 different people dealt with me and I asked all of them to sort out a quote for body work. I am still waiting.

Fast efficient service
I feel that certain aspects of my visit and overall conduct of Sytner Nottingham went above and beyond what I expected and had previously experienced.

All good but two days without a car
Having had the CD problem fixed my car was now without a functioning SAT NAV which was greatly inconvenient. I Phoned Sytners and was told SAT NAV needed a special code. I eventually got the code but it didn't work. I was then stuck over the weekend
Car was dropped off at 8am for it's MOT Test, I heard nothing all day. I had to call at 4 to check what was happening. When car was returned, I was told oil had been topped up, but 1 week later the oil level warning came on. Car was cleaned nicely.

Service completed on time and John organised a taxi to take me into Nottingham instead of waiting around for Two hours.
When I dropped my car and I have given a courtesy car to use that car was so dirty inside leaf and mud was all over the mats seat were dirty too I wasn't impressed at all.Sytner should improve more
For the reasons I mentioned above, I came in with a fault and walked out with it even worse than before.
William Parnham - Again, an asset to the team there, takes ownership, communicates, takes pride, actions all his promises above and beyond.

Good service while I waited. Needed a tyre for the MoT which meant I had to wait a couple more hours, but I was able to work comfortable from the premises.
We have two cars at home and normally dont deal in Nottingham due to past experiences. But service has improved a touch.

Allowed flexibility on service being included in my 50,000 mile package, despite 800 miles to go before it was due. Quoted (high) price for new brakes when not quite due. Car history not updated however.

See above. I see no point in buying another BMW if parts are not built to last and you treat me as an idiot when I ask for someone to see whether the part was at fault rather than charge me for it.
Work was completed swiftly but took nearly an hour more than quoted to hand car back.
Ease of booking in and made to feel very welcome. Appointment always carried out on time and a full review of the care service requirements and additional problems given.
The whole process was stress free and was looked after when I arrived at the dealership.
Enabled booking within a two week window, unlike Stratstone of Derby. Despite being in under recall they identified a few issues which need attention. Added a service but weren't pressurised.
This is the first time I have not given 100%. No papers to read whilst waiting. Noticed my car outside but had not been notified my car was ready.Paper work and payment still had to be completed where usually completed whilst car is valeted.

The work was done to my satisfaction in an efficient and timely manner. The vehicle was handed back to me in a clean state and was kept undercover for the duration of the work. Servicing cost reasonable for a Main Dealer.
I had a poor experience in 2007 after purchasing a brand new car from Sytner Nottingham. I am pleased to say that there customer service now has improved greatly and I would consider using them again.

I only received the top page of my invoice. I have requested a complete invoice and was told one would be put in the post to me. I am still waiting waiting for it over a week later!
Problem with reversing camera warning has not been resolved, but camera does work so it can wait until the next service.

I called into Sytners to arrange a service and a computer update and the staff went out of there way to allow the service and update to be done while I waited.
The first visit I took my car in for new tyres was very poor and I wont use you for these again. The repair under warranty was fine and the car came back in a very clean condition.

While the new car did develop a problem, BMW Sytner Nottingham took it in and fixed it very quickly and the car was returned to perfect working order in short time.
Wheel bolts are safety critical items and locking ones very expensive to replace, but Syntners Nottingham aren't bothered about their customers safety.

A very basic service was required. Driving the car home part of the heat insulation / protector that surrounds the exhaust & covers around the wheel arch were not secured properly. This resulted in the metal insulation banging against the exhaust

Very easy to arrange / attend and collect the car after its service
Absolutely satisfied. Sytner did every thing they said they would and were kind and courteous at all times. During the day whilst my car was in for it's first MOT they even sent me a video of it having it's health check and it came back pristine.

The courtesy car given to me was a uncleaned MINI with no automatic Transmission. When I asked if I could get a like for like Courtesy Car I was told by BMW Staff who attended me that "WE ARE NOT ENTERPRISE". Certainly I knew that you are BMW though.

Your service manager went out of his way to assist me and insure I was mobile whilst work was carried out on my car. I was kept informed and I was later called by Simon (another great team member) to check all was OK post the work.
Expensive and work not completed as it should have been. No follow up call following the second visit.
Lewis was excellent but I was rudely spoken to by the girls on the front, almost like I was an inconvenience and what did I want. Very poor indeed and insulting. Maybe an off day but I am going to Soper's in Lincoln next time.
Excellent service with good customer interface
I was completely satisfied until I opened the boot to find a piece of trim that had not been replaced after the strengthening of the ISO fix points. I replaced it myself, I hope all the other work was done correctly. I.e. What I can't see.

After sale service unsatisfactory. When went to collect the car on Saturday, 30th September, after it had been repaired following breakdown, instead of explanation, there was indifferent and dismissive attitude. See below in Question 4

The electric windows on my new car didnt work and they jammed open n the rain. I had to drive back to a dealer to fix the software. This was a rubbish thing to happen in my first day of owning the car
Nothing was too much trouble for the sales team. I was helped to choose the options which fitted my needs and during the process, had no less than 3 test drives - 2 of which were unaccompanied and one for some 36 hours.
It was my wife's birthday and they went the extra mile
At no stage did I feel pushed into buying the car. My request for information was satiated with the utmost respect. All the staff I dealt with were great. The surroundings are well appointed and relaxing. I ended up with what I wanted.
For the reasons stated above. I'm an individual who likes to take them time when making a major purchase. The team at Sytner were supportive throughout the whole sales process. I was never made to feel that I was a difficult customer.

After some initial confusion around the finance deal available and discovering the switch from Mini to BMW was not quite as "seamless" as I have been told by the finance company on the phone the staff were helpful in explaining clearly the costs.

Wanted to make a minor change 24 hours after placing order but was told it would lead to a potentially 2 week delay but otherwise I'm very happy.
