I had an issue with the dreaded exhaust rattle on my M140 and Sytner arranged with BMW UK to replace it very quickly.
Quick and cleaned afterwards
Everything done as requested car came back beautifully clean.
All customer service was excellent, car was done and cleaned in time promised. However I asked for my squeaky brakes to be sorted. They were OK for a few days but now have began to squeak all the time which is very annoying.

Bit expensive even after a price match with Stratstone Derby (more expensive than them to begin with and didn't offer to beat the price), hence 4 not 5, but not complaining about the service, which was much better than I ever got from Stratstone.

When I was asked why the tyres were wearing unevenly I was told it was probably down to incorrect tyre pressures. Told them I always checked and got no further advice. Why the video clip of a mechanic pointing at things and saying they look OK

Was reassured about the state of the car, Martyn was very personable and friendly.
Excellent communications before and during the service including the surprise of a video showing the the state of tyres and undercarriage (if that's the right word!). I was also served immediately when dropping off and picking up.

The guy who handled my service was outstanding. He certainly went the extra mile to put me at the centre of what he did. There was a problem over the service interval indicator and he went out of his way to ensure the problem was resolved.

Message on dash = parking light failure, but. I sign of defective light in visual inspection. Service result was bulb replacement - charge of £58 seemed excessive to change a bulb.

It seemed an unusually busy day & I had an offer of a lift to collect at the time agreed when leaving with you. It was some 2 hrs later, or thereabouts, when it was ready. A progress call in good time would have been favourably received.
Very good experience. I have an engine oil light signal that comes on when the engine is turned off but the radio is on. I was told this was of no consequence, but not given an explanation as to why it would happen in a car on its first service.

The dealership staff are alway courteous although when busy dont always return calls when they have been suggested by reception staff as the best way of communicating with service department staff at weekends.
The valet service was not as good as usual
Very good service. Could have been a 5 if I hadn't chased up due to requiring my car back within the allotted time. Had a lot of work to do and they found me a desk and got me a drink which was great! felt less stressed as I got a lot done.
Service and three year warranty check on same visit. Great to get the job done in one visit. Very good to know that the car is well serviced and drives well .

Courtesy reminder text the night before, easy drop off on service day and the offer of a lift to/from work, kept updated throughout the day with progress and even received a video link explaining what had been done when the service was complete
It would be 'completely' as a rule because I've never had cause for complaint but I'm short of a set of dust caps for the wheels which my service manager said she would pop in the post for me ... they may be on their way ... but it was 12 days ago.
took slightly longer than should have
I never rec'd the message that was sent to tell me the car was ready which wasted over an hour of my time. All was ok with the work done.
The service adviser took time to understand my needs and very helpfully deal with all my outstanding service and warranty issues in one visit.

There were some factory upgrades that I was encouraged to have which required a software update. Some things now not as good as previous eg on roof open/close and navigation map colours but nothing major. General experience ok.
Returning with the same fault
General service was good but didnt reflect the same level of customer service and attention to detail when purchasing a car. Service also took longer than anticipated but no update was given.
Rang to request they look at something on my car, no one available so said they'd ring me back. No call back so rang them again, put through to someone who clearly didn't care (male, no name), & when I dropped off the car they had no record of it!
From entering the showroom you're greeted by a smiling face (and a cup of coffee!!). The service manager also explained what was to be done and what the cost would be.
Tried to replace items that were not faulty!
I was told that they would wash my car and so had to wait longer. But then when I got the car I noticed they didn't bother to wash my car. Then why ask in the first place.

No problems, was given a courtesy car for the day, car was ready early so I could get home and avoid rush hour traffic. Did have to wait a while for a booking as needed a day which had a car available.

Would be higher however silly errors let them down at times. Service team could do with back up from the front desk at times... often offer no assistance on the phone just transfer the call.
My only issue relates to an intermittent problem with the vehicle, unfortunately not present on the day of service. It would like to have received information about my options for when the problem reoccurs.

They serviced my car , updated recall item and gave me my car back with no power so had to return for it to be fixed. 3 different people dealt with me and I asked all of them to sort out a quote for body work. I am still waiting.

I have no issues with Sytner Nottingham. I was offered an excellent deal. The communication with the dealership was also excellent.
Dale Wilson made the whole process enjoyable, simple and stress free. Early complications with my employer changing my car policy and the car type I was allowed, were quickly resolved with Dale's help.

The only issue I had was a plastic piece beneath the glove compartment came off the day after delivery. I immediately showed Martin who fixed the car by taking it to the garage. Buying a BMW represents a mark of luxury, cheap plastic doesn't.

The electric windows on my new car didnt work and they jammed open n the rain. I had to drive back to a dealer to fix the software. This was a rubbish thing to happen in my first day of owning the car

Nothing was too much trouble for the sales team. I was helped to choose the options which fitted my needs and during the process, had no less than 3 test drives - 2 of which were unaccompanied and one for some 36 hours.

At no stage did I feel pushed into buying the car. My request for information was satiated with the utmost respect. All the staff I dealt with were great. The surroundings are well appointed and relaxing. I ended up with what I wanted.

After some initial confusion around the finance deal available and discovering the switch from Mini to BMW was not quite as "seamless" as I have been told by the finance company on the phone the staff were helpful in explaining clearly the costs.
